Schedule Bluesky posts with working links, mentions and hashtags
Bluesky doesn't find links, mentions or hashtags in plain text on its own. Refract marks each one up before it posts, so they work the moment the post appears.
What you can post
Text post
Up to 300 characters, with links, mentions and hashtags marked up.
Link card
A card for the first link when the post has no photos or video.
Photos
Up to 4 photos, each with its alt text.
GIF or video
One per post.
What Refract checks for you
Checks run while you write, with a fix for each one. They come from the same rules the server uses, so a post that passes here won't be rejected later.
- Up to 300 characters, counted as you type.
- Every link, @handle and #hashtag marked up so it works.
- Alt text on every photo and video.
- Every file checked against Bluesky's formats and sizes.
Connecting Bluesky
- 01Create an app password in Bluesky's settings.
- 02Add the account with its handle and that app password.
- 03Choose which workspace it belongs to.
Refract uses the app password, never your main password.
